Tran Cong Minh

Minh is a researcher and innovator in biomedical engineering, specialising in the development and implementation of technologies for global health. His research group focuses on engineering novel medical devices and healthcare systems, with a particular emphasis on addressing challenges in international medical device regulation and safety.

Rooted in a multidisciplinary approach, the team’s work bridges engineering, clinical science, and health policy. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Engineering and Science from the University of Oxford and a degree in Software and System Engineering from the University of Sheffield. His academic foundations are in Bioengineering, with a focus on Biomedical Engineering Systems.

Tran spearheads a robust international research network, with active, multi-disciplinary collaborations in Vietnam, New Zealand, the United States, and Taiwan. He is committed to advancing health equity and scientific capacity worldwide and serves in several leadership and community roles:
